The field is now confirmed for the 2026 KPMG Women’s Irish Open, with 129 players representing 33 nationalities set to compete at The K Club’s Palmer South Course from 27-30 August, as one of the most highly anticipated weeks on the Ladies European Tour (LET) calendar returns to Irish soil.

Ireland’s challenge is spearheaded by Leona Maguire, ambassador of title sponsor KPMG. As proud sponsors of ambition, KPMG continues to champion the growth of women’s golf in Ireland, and this year’s field reflects that ambition in action – bringing together rising talent, home favourites and proven winners from across the world game.

15 Irish players will tee it up this year, made up of a record nine professionals and six amateurs – the strongest home representation in the tournament’s history. Maguire is joined by fellow Irish professionals Lauren Walsh, Sara Byrne, Canice Screene, Olivia Mehaffey, Anna Foster, Aine Donegan, Beth Coulter and Annabel Wilson, giving Irish fans plenty to cheer for across all four days on the Palmer South Course.

They will be supported by a talented group of Irish amateurs who have earned their place in the field: Katie Poots, Emma Fleming, Anna Abom, Ella Cantwell, Olivia Costello and Kate Dillon – ensuring home interest runs right through the field alongside the leading European stars in the women’s game.

Ryan McCarthy, Managing Partner, KPMG in Ireland, said:

“The strength and international depth of this year’s field is a reflection of how far the KPMG Women’s Irish Open has come in a relatively short period of time. As proud sponsors of ambition, we are delighted to see some of the world’s best players competing alongside emerging talent and a record contingent of 15 Irish golfers. The championship continues to provide an important platform to inspire the next generation, showcase Ireland on the global stage, and celebrate the continued growth of women’s golf. We look forward to welcoming players, fans and families to The K Club for what promises to be another exceptional week.”

Anna Huang leads the international charge with four LET wins but hot on her heels will also be fellow winners from the 2026 LET season – Noora Komulainen, Leonie Harm, Smilla Tarning Soenderby, Esme Hamilton, Agathe Laisne and Kelsey Bennett – all arriving in Ireland on the back of victories already this year. Germany’s Leonie Harm heads into tournament week fresh off her maiden LET title at the Amundi German Masters. The field also carries Solheim Cup pedigree, with past and current Team Europe stars Leona Maguire and Caroline Hedwall both teeing it up, alongside a strong line-up of proven winners and rising stars including Hannah Darling, Diksha Dagar, Shannon Tan, Ayako Uehara, Meghan MacLaren and Florentyna Parker.

The strength of the field reflects the continued growth of the KPMG Women’s Irish Open, which is now one of the most highly anticipated events on the LET calendar since its reincarnation in 2022, winning LET Tournament of the Year back to back in 2024 and 2025.

Fans attending tournament week can also look forward to a packed programme off the course, including live music, entertainment for all ages and a dedicated Family Village on the South Course with the addition of a Main Stage headlined by Irish Women in Harmony on Sunday. The championship runs from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30 August 2026, with tickets available now at
