Golf in Scotland keeps growing

Scotland’s 560 clubs now have 220,210 playing members – a rise of 11,176 from 2024 and the biggest increase for four years.

 

Overall membership is up 5.4%

 

Adult male membership is up 2.9%

 

Adult female membership is up 1.6%

 

Junior girl membership is up 2.9%

 

Junior boy membership is up (a phenomenal) 28.2%

 

Right now, there are so many good things to shout about in our game.

 

Scottish Golf will continue to provide support, guidance and funding to their clubs, areas and counties as they work to grow the game, provide new opportunities for play and ensure golf is Scotland’s game for everyone.
