The Ryder Cup is more than a golf tournament – it’s a global sporting spectacle and a true highlight in the stories of thousands of volunteers.

Applications are now open to become a volunteer for the 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor in County Limerick, Ireland, offering the chance to be part of one of the world’s greatest sporting events as it celebrates it’s 100th anniversary.

By applying to volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to be at the heart of this iconic event and help make history happen as we deliver our centenary milestone. You’ll meet incredible people from all walks of life, help us showcase legendary Irish hospitality, and welcome the world to Ireland – your impact makes all the difference.

Eligibility Criteria

We welcome anyone who is ready to embrace the spirit of the Ryder Cup. Make sure you meet the basic eligibility criteria:

  • You are 18 years or older at the time of the event
  • You are available for one shift per day for five days from 14 – 19th September 2027 and additional training pre-event. The five days must include 2 practice days and the 3 match days
  • You are outgoing, enthusiastic and a team player
  • You are comfortable communicating in English, as the Ryder Cup is an English-speaking event

There are approximately 2,000 roles available.

Roles Available:

  • Marshal Roles which involve on course, operational duties and
  • Ambassador Roles (fan experience roles)
