Scenically situated in Cork Harbour, the Club has hosted many major amateur and professional Championships over the years including the Irish Open. Built on free-draining limestone, the course presents a crisp heath-like playing surface similar to links.
The course was designed by Alister MacKenzie and Cork Golf Club is a proud member of The MacKenzie SocietyÂ

Sharon Smurfit’s Review:
I have played Cork Golf Club on a number of occasions and I really do recommend that you play this course if you are in the Cork area. We played it when we stayed in Kinsale as it was only about 20 minutes from there. Designed by Alister MacKenzie who designed Augusta, the greens are some of the best in the country. Not to be missed.Â
